Digital Shorts

Here are some of the movie projects I've worked on during the past few years. Some of these were for hire, but most of these were just for kicks and grins. I enjoy making digital shorts and look forward to having a good camera soon. Some of these were originally created on an analog video camera and then digitized and some were shot with an inexpensive digital camera. All of these were edited with either Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Adobe After Effects or iView Media Pro.

Wedding Slideshow

I created this slideshow for a friend's wedding reception. It's been edited (slides deleted and sped up) to shave time and to highlight the motion graphics. This was done with a combination of iView Media Pro and Adobe After Effects. Quicktime 6mb

3D Desktop

This project was just for myself, learning animation and motion graphics in a 3D environment. I just took all the objects on my desktop and played around with them. It was all done with Photoshop and Adobe After Effects. Quicktime 3mb

Section Trailer

This trailer for Section, a snowboard clothing company, was produced by Supa-Tek Media. Section needed a DVD to show off their new line of technical clothing so I helped Supa-Tek with the shoot, greenscreen, and visual effects. Quicktime 3mb

Lights In The City

I produced this for The Lighting Agency to promote their annual lighting convention in Denver. They hosted a ski trip before the convention, so this was shown on the busride to the slopes. Edited considerably for time, made with Final Cut Pro. Quicktime 13mb

Pumpjack

This was the second digital movie I ever made. My best friend and I were driving across Kansas on a bleak November day. We decided to make a pitstop and ride a pumpjack in the setting sun. Shot with my janky analog video camera. Made with iMovie. Quicktime 11mb

CHaPs

This was the first digital short I created on my Mac. My friends and I had recently taken a trip through the Tuscan hills of Italy on some slow-ass scooters. A pair of $4 sunglasses made for an obvious parody. Made with iMovie. Quicktime 2mb
